Your work is very good, many thanks.

After running setup and rebooting, it still asks for the decryption password, but in a different GUI. It seems, setup2 didn't go through automatically. Maybe the instructions weren't clear to me. You could also include in the description, that this project is meant for Ubuntu based distros.

Setup2 was deprecated a while ago and is no longer in the main branch; are you using a fork of the main branch? The latest source creates an EFI stub loaded with efibootmgr without relying on GRUB. This was done to support Linux distros in general and remove the Ubuntu-specific requirement. Please let me know if you find anything causing the source to be Ubuntu-specific

It tries to invoke dpkg on Manjaro.

Mmmh to make it truly compatible we need to point out which packages are needed for the major distro, automatically detect which one is in use and make it use the right command and list of packages.

If you would be so kind to point out the right packages I can try to do an upgraded script that does this!
