As far as I'm aware, Digital Turbine are building on Turnilo. They have a feature to expand/collapse rows in table view.

Is this a feature of Turnilo or a custom solution? If the former, how can it be configured?

EDIT: Can this be labelled as [enhancement]?

We don't have this in Turnilo.

We can leave this as a feature request. Would be nice if you expand a little more this description. Is all data loaded at the start or it is fetched later when row expands? What's the default state? Is state persisted between loads (for example after adding some filters)? Is state persisted in url (if you share url it will have the same items expanded after load)?

  • Data loading: For my intended usage it could load at the start. Fetching upon expansion would be a nice-to-have
  • Default state: All dimensions are collapsed
  • Persistence upon filter change: Nice-to-have. Ideally, expanded parent rows remain expanded when filters/splits are changed (as long as the dimension is not removed from the split) -> I'm thinking like Excel/GSheets pivot logic
  • Persisted in URL: Nice-to-have. Ideally yes, it would be possible to share a specific expanded view
