Has anyone used the 3d printed router Template for the I strumebt bezel?

I am curious how it's used.

If a 'strumebt bezel' is a bezel that accommodates one or more encoders, then the template is used with a router and a 'flush' bit to remove the material (wood, plastic) to make space to install an encoder. I've used it to install encoders required in a C172 open cockpit which I completed last year. Without Allen's printed 3D files for printing the bezels, I think I'd still be trying to learn 3D software rather than building the cockpit.

@JTRACKER

The router template is setup so that you can place it into the 3 1/8" hole you have cut into your 1/4 board. Then use a flush trim bit in your router so that it follows the inside of the router template.

Here is a video for using Flush Trim bits with a router that might help:

Good luck!
