Hi

Customer uses the Linux sysbench to verify memory performance.

But found that with different kernel the memory performance is different.

CentOS7.9, kernel version 5.19.0-45-generic/CentOS7.9, kernel version 3.10.0

Since their applications are used to kernel 3.10, but seems the kernel 3.10 memory performance is lower than kernel 5.19

So customer would like to ask that why the kernel impact the memory performance, are there any patches that be implemented of new kernel to improve the performance?

CentOS7.9, kernel version 5.19.0-45-generic)read average 11xxx.xx/write average 10xxx.xx
CentOS7.9, kernel version 3.10.0) read average 7xxx.xx/write average result 7xxx.xx

Thanks and Regards
