I do not understand if installing ajenti2 is sufficient to manage virtual hosts, do automatic ssl with let'sencrypt, serve a php website, a nodejs app and receive emails. do I have to install ajenti V for this or not? is there an ajenti V for version 2 ?

Ajenti-V was an extension for Ajenti 1, and currently not supported in Ajenti 2.
Ajenti 2 is quite new, and I'm adding some plugins as I can ( and as I need it ). I plan to add a lot of things, but all depend on my time.

I do not understand if ajenti-v is only for creating a multi-user shared experience like cpanel. 😖
Can ajenti 2 host a nodejs app and a mailbox for one domain in its current status for example? or is it like virtualmin for only managing system settings?

Currently can ajenti 2 not host a nodejs app nor mailbox.

ok so for now I would be better off with ajenti 1 + the appropriate ajenti-v modules.
but if I configure nginx, node and other stuff manually will there be a way to manage that when ajenti 2 gets hosting capability or will I have to re-install everything ?

also, can ajenti 1 and 2 be installed side by side ? thanks

I would love for ajenti 2 to stay small, I was searching for something only doing file managing and an interactive shell in the browser and both seem to be handled beautifully in Ajenti 2. Will it always stay modular so I can skip everything else and only have those two elements (and maybe some resource specs)?

I think ajenti 2 will stay modular, that's a big strength to be able to install only what needed.
Currently, I'm only adding plugins as modules.

Hello, please let me know if any work is being done for porting Ajenti-V or creating it from scratch.
I'm particularly interested in Exim or any work related to mailbox functionality.
Are there any development processes for Nginx?

Hello @dursuntokgoz

Unfortunately no. I don't manage to find enough time actually to progress on this.
