@benlangfeld,

Would like to try to implement offering of outgoing file transfers. It's something that will be very useful to one of my projects.

Could you give me a brief on how it needs to be implemented. If no one is working on that, maybe I could give it a try?

A friendly disclaimer: I'm no XMPP expert, and I'll do my best to pick up what's needed and get on with the show, though I may need help once in a while. :)

Looking forward to your thoughts on this.

Sincerely,
Balwant.

@mironov is probably the best person to address this. I'm afraid nothing comes to mind immediately. Feel free to ask specific questions though, and I'll see what I can do.

Ben,

Will this operation be defined in the XMPP official specification?

I can go look it up there as a start.

Sincerely,

Balwant.

Sent from my phone.
