An attempt to evaluate (ld "base.lisp") in directory books/quicklisp/ fails with the following message.
HARD ACL2 ERROR in INCLUDE-RAW: Load of "base-raw.lsp" failed with
the following message:
Error in function CFFI::FL-ERROR: Unable to load any of the alternatives:
("libcrypto.so.1.1" "libcrypto.so.1.0.0" "libcrypto.so.3" "libcrypto.so")
I plan to exclude CMUCL soon for that book. See Issue #1332 for a possibly relevant such issue for LispWorks.

I'm guessing that OpenSSL isn't the issue, since I often certify the quicklisp books successfully on that same platform (which is running Linux) using CCL and SBCL.
