I find one of the biggest problems with recording all-sky data over years is the inability to easily reference or find older data. One approach to solving this may be to have the ability to add text description (might be paragraph) as well as "tags" to a night and/or day time-lapse.

When reviewing a time-lapse I may want to add a description to that time-lapse. This description would be part of the metadata for that time-lapse.

Tags can be user defined to provide some consistency in identifying the time-lapse.. For example, #aurora, #storm, #lighning bugs, etc.

Tags and descriptions can be updated at any time after the time-lapse is created. Regenerating time-lapse also preserves the description and tags.

Tags can be used to filter which time-lapses to list.

If there is a remote "public" version of the website this metadata would need to be re-uploaded after changes.

I will have to think about this.... I think I understand what you want, but I just need to figure out how to do this.
