channels show 404 #254

I think I'm having problems similar to #71 and #77 but I still don't know how to fix it. When I click a channel, browser console says, http://127.0.0.1:4801/channels/{channelname} where {channelname} is the channel name I clicked.

When I check docker-compose logs ganymede-frontend -f it tells me:

If I go to http://127.0.0.1:4802/vods/ in my browser, an index of my vods directory is shown and I can browse and look at videos like that so I'm guessing the nginx docker container is up and running.

I've tried changing CDN_URL=http://127.0.0.1:4802 to CDN_URL=http://127.0.0.1:4800/static but I think it still gives me 404 and the ganymede-frontend container seems to give the same log info?

The fix in #77 seems to have something to do with domain names and ip addresses not being resolved in the required way, but I'm just using localhost so I don't think that fix is applicable here.

The channels page uses a server side request. This means that the frontend container needs to be able to access the API. API_URl=http://127.0.0.1:4800 should be set to the IP of the server or machine it's running on. This way the frontend can access the API when performing server side requests. There aren't many server side requests so I'm going to look into moving away from those as they seem to issues with deployments.

ok setting API_URL=http://192.168.1.50:4800 (my computer's IP from my router) and then allowing the port 4800 in UFW seems to have worked. I can now access the channel pages.

But actually, now I have another problem, it lets me log in now, but basically instantly logs me back out, telling me: Request Failed Invalid access token in the bottom right of the webpage.
This is everything in my browser network tab after pressing log in:

It seems that the first request to 192.168.1.50:4800 gives me a 0B response.
The response for the second line with the status 200 POST gives general info about my user so I guess that's where I get logged in.
The requests to refresh give the response: http: named cookie not present
The requests to last?limit=4 give response: Invalid access token

UFW is disabled at the moment so that shouldn't be the problem either

Try setting the other *_URL environment variables to use your IP instead of 127.0.0.1. The frontend is probably refusing to set the cookies from the backend as the URL (IP) isn't correct.
