It can be a bit bias, but I think it would be great to have releases for GNU/Linux systems, which lacks somehow minimalists Pomodoro apps as useful as YAPA.

This might be quite difficult. Maybe you could elaborate a bit more, would you like to run YAPA 2 with same UI ? Maybe xamarin forms could help, but need to figure out what functionality should be moved.

I would love a version for Linux.

I have tried many of the minimalist Pomodoro app for Linux and I haven't found one with a transparent overlay.
