I just installed a userscript, "Youtube Old Site Design." I re-enabled YoutubeCenter and it is working again!

I hope this helps others or the developers in updating YoutubeCenter.

UPDATE: I found that this script reloads the video page as another page. So if you try going back, you're basically stuck there unless you hold the back button and get to the page you were on previously.

I just installed this Firefox add-on called, Youtube Design Preserver and I no long have the reload issue. It works great.

If you don't want to use an add-on you can follow one of these two videos:

Sorry for late...
You can try

  • visit homepage via https://www.youtube.com/?disable_polymer=true URL
  • add &disable_polymer=true after video URL

The proper workaround is for the devs to update this script. I'd rather not install a bunch of other crap to make a single script work like it was supposed to.

Also the above suggestions don't really work. Not all of the scripts features work anymore. Particularly the setting that disables advertisements. The download videos part still works so for now I keep the script disabled until I need to use that. I will be using Iridium until this script gets updated.

I have never seen ads and still don't see ads. And that was even before I started using Youtube Center. I guess my adblocker works just fine.
