There is no central place to find installation procedures for different browsers and there seems to be a lot of confusion because of the 3+ installation variants on chrome.

I would like to create an updated overview of how to get YTC up and running for chrome (and later on other browsers (as soon as the FF "extension-issue" is resolved)).

If you have YTC running in chrome, it would be awesome if you could provide some details that I can compile into a wiki page.

What I need is: OS, Chrome version (please be specific, this seems to matter a lot) and a a short description of how you installed it (Tampermonkey, dev-version, permission-rights-black-magic, etc.). If I don't understand a step, I can just pm you.

I suspect a lot of the newer issues here could be resolved by a structured approach might help people to decide which installtion path they might choose.

A big thanks to everyone who supported this project so far, let's keep it alive as long as we can, shall we?

P.S.: I am aware of all SO articles considering this and also some of the (better formulated) issues here and will incorporate them into the list.

P.P.S. I nearly forgot: Please also mention "significant" scripts like adblockers, safety-awareness-blacklist-stopper and other magical items in your extension list that might be relevant.
