I don't want Memex to see/import my browser bookmarks. This is a massive "bug" atm that's making it difficult to use Memex to its full potential for my use case. Every time I open the dashboard it defaults the "Web" section and lists all my browser bookmarks (and i bookmark a lot so this is especially annoying). I want Memex to be its own thing. If I want a "memex bookmark" I will hit the default hotkey "Alt-Shift-B" or manually go to the app menu to do it, only then should it save it as a bookmark in the memex app.

Also, let us change the default dashboard page to "Highlights"

Thank you!

I also agree, it should be optional to import browser bookmarks.

Definitely agree. I've asked Oliver about this quite a while ago now.
I'm worried it's part of the fundamental structure of the app, in that the program was not designed to consider a 'browser' bookmark and a 'memex' bookmark to be different in any way. ie, this could be a pain in the ass to redesign (and is why it hasn't happened so far as I've seen this being asked for a few times, and it's almost objectively an obvious feature need?).

Hey folks,

this has now launched in the latest version. You can disable it in the settings.
