Preventing blocks from being inserted adjacent to each other

Hi all

Does anyone know of a hack to prevent blocks from being inserted next to each other? I'm delivering a client site with only full-section ACF blocks. The switch form Flexible Content to ACF Blocks + Gutenberg has been frustrating because of the lack of editor customizability. I only want users to be able to stack blocks vertically and not insert them adjacent to each other, but haven't been able to find a solution.

Any ideas would be really appreciated.
