Hi

Describe the Bug

A user has indicated that the server crashes when generating pairwise similarities. This seems to be a recurring issue that is unresolved as the user has highlighted this issue previously.

To Reproduce

This is a bug highlighted by a user via a user survey. The respondent did not provide steps to reproduce this bug/ additional information to replicate this error. Our hypothesis is that the crash may be caused by a large volume of files uploaded for plagiarism checking.

Expected Behavior

Tasks

  • Investigate cause of crash
  • Fix issue

Acceptance Criteria

Generating pairwise similarities will not cause the server to crash.

More Information

The feedback provided originates directly from the user feedback surveys and may include requirements and suggestions that lack clarity. The SSID team should evaluate and decide whether the team should address the identified issues or reject suggestions that do not provide clear and actionable insights.
