'Version Type' vocabulary/ element?

We need to attach descriptive information to our video edits, such as 'Unrated', 'Extended/ Director's Cut', 'Censored', etc., and are currently using a pbcoreExtension field to do so. Floating this to the group to see if there's any interest in formalizing/ adding a new element to capture something like this.

Can you provide an example of how you are doing this? Is it a pbcoreExtension or instantiationExtension? Do you have a suggestion for how PBCore might support this?
