Describe the bug
Topic curation from #2479 is quite slow.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

Go to http://127.0.0.1:8100/disease/Q917357/curation
Click on CheckCrossRef.
Wait a long time

Expected behavior
The interaction should be faster. We might also be block the server.

** Additional **
'rows': 20, in q_curation.html could be set lower.
