Stability Release

This codebase is actually the same as v0.3.1, however we've concluded that the codebase has had enough stability that we can release it as the first major version.

Resolves UP1 Security advisory UP1-1 see #48 for the security advisory.
Resolves an issue with the golang server not working as expected.
