Minecraft Java profile response could not be parsed

Description of bug

I tried to login to my ely.by account but it only gave me a red text, "Minecraft Java profile response could not be parsed".

Steps to reproduce

• Opened settings
• Opened Accounts
• Pressed "Add Ely.by"
• Filled out email and password
• Pressed OK
• Showed "Minecraft Java profile response could not be parsed" error
  

Suspected cause

No response

This issue is unique

• I have searched the issue tracker and did not find an issue describing my bug.

Not just Linux, Windows is also affected afaik. Can't get it to build on my machine so I can't test it (Chatgpt would do 99% of the work ^^")

Instead of “entering” my email, I wrote my Ely.by nickname and password, and everything worked for me.

That worked for me, the readme file and the window's text box should be changed to make that more clear

That works, but my ely.by skin does not show up in multiplayer nor singleplayer? Anyone else have this issue?

While this is one of my favorite launchers of all time, I'd suggest people look into legacy launcher as it has a working ely.by support. But remember that you are going to give up the ease of use and comprehensive UI that ultimmc/multimc offers. Sad but it should do for now until the developers decide to respond to the plethora of other issues already present.

It works for me offline, haven't tested online yet because I don't how to play multiplayer lol

I just can't replicate this... are you sure you can reach ely.by, there aren't any firewalls, etc?
