Hello,

I tested detect Lidartags with using your velodyne bags. Then I tried with Ouster OS1-128 but doesn't worked.

Where could I be doing wrong? Does Ouster support lidar?

Bags and launch file I tried in this link.

Hello @knzo25,

I've seen LiDARTag's improvements on the ROS2 side.

I tried to change param for Ouster OS1-128 launcher but doesn't work. LiDARTag doesn't detect markers.

Current State :

lidartag_error

Which parameters should I change specifically? Where could i be wrong?

Can you help me?

@AhmetMete
Hi, I do not have a OS1-128 at hand, but I received a sample rosbag and confirmed its performance with this launcher

Hi, I saw that you forked this project and developed a launch file for the Velodyne-16. I'm curious about the requirements for the tags when using the Velodyne-16. For instance, what are the tag size and tag family specifications?

Hi, I used the tag size that I have been using so far (800x800mm). The family is also 16h5 (have not tried any other).
The detection range is almost null; you need to put the tag in a particular position for it to be detected (was enough for what I wanted to do though).
If you have questions about our fork, I don't mind answering them here, but I don't know how the authors feel about it, and I may completely miss the posts

Thanks for your reply! I do have a few questions. My name is Yibo Liu and I sent you a request to connect via LinkedIn. Can I ask some questions there?

I don't mind answering via Linkedin, by my intention was really to ask questions from our fork in our fork, and general things (like from the paper) in the authors repo

Ok, I understand. I actually wanted to ask for your email, however, I was worried that you will be bothered if you leave your mailbox here. Thus, I mentioned LinkedIn. I'm writing a paper about utilizing LiDAR fiducial tags in SLAM and need some help. I connected the authors of LiDARTag. Unfortunately, their lab has been closed. So could you please leave contact information so that I can send the details🙏
