We should pin the versions of all the packages on the day of the release of the new installation instructions. This way we would avoid having problems with last-minute major releases on the package versions and the final script.

Another potential good thing to do is to move the core of the "Asking good questions" section from DSCI 521 to the installation instructions. I think that it is a good opportunity for the students to practice how to ask good questions and also can save us time when solving all the installation problems.
The part of Git and GitHub takes more lectures now in DSCI 521, so this could help to invest most of the course workload on more advanced concepts too.
