Bash version (MacOs) needs to be updated for 2023 #142

We are using a very old version of bash for Mac
Windows and Linux are using Bash version 5.1
In our current set up Mac is working with Bash 3.2

If there is a major change in the installations for next year definitely my vote goes for #78
