Trying your scripts for the first time [Glyphs 3.0.4 (3108), latest G3 compatible release of BubbleKern (12.12.21]. First of all: Great approach! Apparently it is not possible for me to add custom entries to the pair list builder. No matter if separated by space, comma, slash, only one character on each side or without any character. It always shows a prompt saying:

Invalid input. Only a string of glyph names separated by space, comma, or slash is accepted.

Am I doing something wrong or is this an (un)known issue in the process of transferring your code to G3?

Hi Jakob, thanks for the report. On my side, it works fine. I think the problem is that there is invalid line somewhere (the error message is always the same regardless of what errors it might contain). The flat text list is strictly pairs only and nothing else, and you need to remove the comments. Maybe I should implement a comment tag to reduce confusion.

Hello Toshi, I've been trying your script on G2 and now I'm using it for the first time on G3, but I come up with the same issue as grommas pointed out above. Whatever syntax I'm trying I always get the same error message. Which is a drag because the custom pair list parameter is the most useful.
It works with the flat text entry but I would like to keep using the custom pair list parameter. Do you know if it's possible to fix it?

Same here, with every installation of Glyphs I’m trying.
To be more specific. It is the Pair List Builder that makes the error, not the Flat Text.
(I tested Glyphs 3 on High Sierra and Big Sur, Glyphs 2.6.7 does not open the window)
Quick fix: changing line 543 to return text and commenting out line 54
