Hi, thanks for this great add-on, I've been using it for several years.
This year's new changes on Duo somehow damped our experience.

Here's one thing I'm thinking about:
Some lessons removed the keyboard typing functionality, left only word buttons to click on.
How about we make an input box on our own, by the add-on, and after (or during) our typing in the box, the add-on choose / click those words automatically ?

Do you think this is doable?
And I hope you could give me some hints about this, so I'll try to work on it by myself first.
Thank you very much, have a nice weekend :-)

Hi!

I haven't used Duolingo in quite some time now so things may have changed, but I remember that this behaviour was already possible for all click the words to make a sentence type answers. You could just start typing and it would match your key strokes to the available options, and when it had a unique match it would 'click' the word block.

If this is no longer a thing that is shame, but it would definitely be possible to create a browser extension that does it.

PS I accidentally closed the issue and reopened it, sorry!

Understood :-)
Thanks for your reply.

Yeah, there's already the functionality of typing-matching, which will automatically choose the word when the first letter(s) typed matched it uniquely. -- However the user experience of it is much lower than just typing whole sentence on our own, because the typing process is intermittent, and it is not quite reliable with some situations, for example when there are apostrophes in words. Also for some languages the matching functionality doesn't work at all.
I believe typing the whole sentences will help us build our muscle memory, thus help with our language learning.

I will try to think and work on it, meanwhile if you came up with some ideas, I hope you could post here, thanks in advance :-)
