Oneplus 3t issues with Oreo (8.1.0) custom roms

Evening guys,

So i have been at this for several weeks now, and with no luck, a little background of what i am attempting and what i found out.

I am trying to run a rom called Pixel Experience with multirom, this is a 8.1.0 rom, google made a few changes on the ramdisk as of Oreo and moved fstab to another place, fstab is now present inside the device tree blobs it is no longer present in the ramdisk.

With that in mind i set myself to modify device tree blobs and restore the fstab back into the ramdisk, but with little success, reaching the boot animation and crashing to fastboot right after.

A few weeks ago I contacted a developer that had successfully built multirom and booted an 8.1.0 rom as secondary, he said that the only modification he said he had to do was "building oreo multirom-twrp" which i set out to do with his help.

We managed to do it and install multirom, but oreo roms still do not boot and multirom complains about not "finding fstab file in root".

I wanted to post the log, which should be in /sdcard/multirom_log.txt the file doesn't exist though, so i took a picture of the error instead: https://imgur.com/a/F7PTd

This happens with all 8.1.0 roms i have tested apart from dirty unicorns (the only one that has the fstab in the ramdisk like on nougat roms)
