ok so i managed to get voxel guest working on my server finally, liking it so far!
one thing i have noticed with the /who list is lack of customization available for it, i can see the logic behind taking the first letter of every group name from permissions but the problem i have is i have multiple group names starting with the same letter so it looks really silly in the list.
it looks like this:
[A:0] [A:0] [B:0] [C:0] [A:0] [A:0] [A:0] [A:0] [O:0] [G:0] [R:0] A:0
theres no sense of hierarchy within it either.
my suggestion is to have the ability to customize the letters or change them to words or something with multiple letters for each group, eg: in my case B+ B++ Bw CO etc.
this would benefit my server so very much (most likely other servers too).

i also have an unrelated question: what does the stream do? and why can we not use it? do you plan on implementing it in the future?

thanks.

Added to the todo list.

As for the 'stream' I guess you actually mean the greylist streaming feature. It allows any TCP client to connect to VoxelGuest and add people to the greylist.
This feature is currently used by our server only since we are the only ones who have the software (a.k.a. greylist application system) to use it. However, we (primarily I) will provide either a proper documentation on how the communication protocol works or release our greylist application system's source. - Maybe both but preparing the app system's code for open source requires a quite a bit of preparation.

thats great thanks.
and the streaming feature sounds very useful, been looking for an application system for a while now for our website and wasnt aware voxel guest had it built in. if you do release that feature, id be glad to use it!

I thought I had posted this a couple of days ago, but I, too, would appreciate the release of the greylist app system so I wouldn't have to use a round-about plugin with a ton of extra useless features geared toward offline servers.
