Loved the concept! Wish more success to the idea and swift as well

When you are talking about the world dominated by swift, My self as a swift developer I have never get a chance to meet a swift developer who is not working on Apple platforms. I guess there are very few.
It will be more exciting to know about their experience that how they leverage the use of swift on other platforms. That might encourage some other developers like me who wanted to move forward in the same direction.

Here is the suggestion, Can we get a couple of developers who are working on swift but not with Apple platforms in an upcoming podcast?

Hi, I'm an interesting case because I only really use Swift for CLI tooling to push the entire eco-system forward. Ideally, to reduce maintenance burden on CocoaPods. Things like Komondor exist because it's frustrating not having a good set of baseline tools for Danger Swift development.

That said, I really don't fit well with the original spec because I don't really believe in Swift everywhere - and most of the things that I build tend to be in TypeScript as that language fits my mental model of programming better.

I can make a recommendation though, maybe @benasher44 is someone who might be able to talk about this - though it may be too early.

I’m currently working on a multi-platform project with Kotlin Native. It actually makes me feel like Swift is currently missing the boat on non-Apple platforms. That’s my current thought, and I feel confident that I need to re-evaluated that once Swift’s ABI is stable. I’ve only been involved in this for a few weeks though. It might be a bit early :)

Just found this podcast and it is cracking so far, thanks for the effort.

As an extension to the gentleman's request. I would like to hear more about what would be needed to maybe get Swift to a place where it was in the same space as Go and Rust. As in a natural tool to use for back end tasks (on Linux/BSD's etc and the 'cloud').

There are also the people in the server-side community (such as myself 😉). While many of us develop on Mac, we also need make sure it runs the same on Linux. So it might be worth reaching out to someone that does Vapor, Perfect, or Kitura.
