I have the same error and after enabling the debug mode I've got the following error report no matter what I tried:
2024-05-24_01h27_34
I'm running it in a docker and the writeable volume is attached to .../config/etc.

First time was trying to install SolidInvoice in docker and my experience is a nightmare. The environment variables (database_***) that I found across this repo don't work, i.e. even filled the DB initial onnection form opens empty so I need to re-enter all db-connection related staff from scratch.
The installation on hub.docker is concise and doesn't help at all.

I was able to fix my 'permission denied' error - the docker attached volume folder has denied the access to the docker container user (PUID)
