Set master custom sort order

There is a way to set up a product sorting, in categories and search results, based on the value of a custom attribute and ensure that this sorting is maintained even if another one is selected?

Ex : 3 products in the listing, 2 with available stock and 1 without stock. I need this out-of-stock product to always appear at the end of the listing regardless of the configured sorting (price, position, name...).

If you really, just need a way to move out-of-stock products to the bottom of the product list, just get inspired from this issue.

Thank you for help. I configured an optimizer to keep out-of-stock products at the end of the listing; however, when another sorting is selected, the optimizer loses its effect. For my needs, it would be ideal for the optimizer to continue working regardless of the selected sorting. Is there a way to maintain the optimizer for all sorting options?
