The bioconda project, for those who have not heard of it, is a Anaconda distribution installer condo channel. Bioconda enables users to install bioinformatics application simply and easily through the conda installer. It makes creating and running bioinformatics workflows. I presented an Hour of Code presentation that demonstrated be able to create a workflow in about an hour. Even if we do not utilize bioconda I think it makes a very compelling argument for using Jupyter notebooks in an Anaconda installed world.
