Is there a best practice on how to get the folder structure and data from the organization lesson for this lesson? I can cut and paste the folders from my local copy and commit them but then any changes to the material will not be copied. Help!?!?! :-)

I would say either leave it there and just link to it, or else you could set up that repo as a remote and pull in just that folder with a git subtree type approach.
