This can be caused by LHM hanging because one of its sensor scans is taking a very long time but not outright failing.
I had a similar issue when I put a failing hard drive in a removable bay to try and recover data from it. It caused LHM, Disk Manager, and HDSentinel all to hang.
Have the same issue, the UI froze after closing furmark, so I tried to restart but now the screen looks like this:

@YouLion2Death I think I found a workaround: try closing FC through the tray (the little triangle thingy in your taskbar) and opening it again. That has worked for me

Is there a log.txt file next to FanControl.exe with recent date entries?
