AMD 7900XTX not found linux #2758

Have you installed the amd drivers? I have the commands to install them on ubuntu as well as a software to control the clocks |

im not familiar with linux at all to be honest... I just noticed when looking through you config compared to mine(windows) that things with multiple answers have [ ] around them but things with single answers dont except this one "DeviceName": [ |
welll im familiar with linux but not red hat.
have you went to the amd website and followed their instructions to install the amd gpu drivers WITH opencl and rocm additionally? If you want the quick way might be time to grab a copy of ubuntu |
I suggest you try ubuntu sometime. We rely on open source systems for a reason. |
its also possible 7900xtx is really new and too new for red hat because no one is using it. If you are sure you installed opencl then you might need to contact amd |

Use ubuntu. If you need detailed step by step instructions, I can offer that. If you insist on using fedora, you must diagnose driver issues on your own. |
