Describe the solution or feature you'd like.

Not sure if this has been brought up before, but I'd like to avoid the start button bringing up the pause menu and select button bringing up retroarch, and rather have them stay bound to touchscreen (or the Xbox/PS button only).

Describe any alternatives you've considered.

Obviously some people would prefer having it on Start, but honestly this should be optional - having to do extra presses just to enter a game's menu is incredibly annoying.

Why did this get a bug label

because it's a bug when a button that's required for a game (say, for an in-game menu, or a cheat code like contra 30 lives) instead pauses emulation and opens the Provenance menu. Probably bad examples, but that's how I see it.
