Postgres.app checks only for updates when launching main app #729

Postgres.app uses Sparkle to check for updates. However, it currently only does that when launching the main app.

Lots of people probably rarely open the main app, so they are not informed of software updates.

It would be nice if the login helper / menu bar helper checked for updates and showed a notification.
