Clicking x btn in Edge , doesn't update paper-input's value #684

Steps to reproduce

Having a paper-input type='search' , enter text
x button appears on the right , click it to clear entered text

Result: Entered text is cleared from UI, but paper-input's value is not cleared, it has the previously entered text
