  • I have read the FAQ section, searched the open issues, and still think this is a new bug.

Describe the bug you encountered:

I'm trying to access the database in my pCloud account using the storage type pCloud (Full access). My pCloud account is protected by 2FA, I have the authenticator app on the same phone I'm using KeePass2Android on. Unfortunately, the flow is broken:

  1. Select pCloud (Full Access) as storage type.
  2. Enter your username, then your password. The app asks for the TOTP.
  3. Switch to the authenticator app and copy the TOTP code.
  4. Switch back to KeePass2Android to enter the code. However, the moment I switch back, the login window goes away with a notification bubble saying Login failed.

Describe what you expected to happen:

Since the authenticator app will usually be on the same phone, the login flow needs to support switching to a different app and not abort immediately.

Right now the only way to get this working is to have the database open in KeePass on another device and manually type in the current TOTP code.

What version of Keepass2Android are you using?

1.10-pre

Which version of Android are you on?

14
