To improve testing of new functions, we can create a github workflow to run SS models from the Stock synthesis test models repo and then test ss3diags functions on those models. This will help make sure the functions work with SS models of different levels of complexity and data types. An example of this workflow can be found here.

Some models to include:

  • conditional age-at-length data
  • length and age composition data
  • tagging data
  • discard data
