Every transaction seems to have 10-14 bytes added for no reason

0+0=0

148+0=158?

102+32=144?

A 1 to 1 segwit p2sh transaction (typical CPFP) is closer to ~134 not 144

version: 4 bytes
ntimelock: 4 bytes
vinsize: 1 byte
voutsize: 1 byte

10 bytes that have nothing to do with inputs and outputs.
