I think it's good to have a list of Addons we think we need to make the OOTB edition successful.
Sure as start we'll pick the current available Addons and fix the https://wiki.alfresco.com/wiki/Projects_and_Teams_Global_Virtual_Hack-a-thon_2014.

I'm busy with a couple of Addons, these are my friday projects to work on.

  • Document notification, a user can subscribe on a document and will receive an email when there is an update
  • JavaScript remote HTTP call from a repo script

The document notification is something Documentum offers that Alfresco
doesn't.
That would be good addon.

We discussed it (creating a place to share such ideas), and we decided to create a page in Alfresco Wiki. Boriss (bmejias) said he will try to do it tomorrow. Then the link from our "Collaboration on creating new add-ons" activity should leads to this page.
