System:

  • Ubuntu 22.04.2 LTS
  • OpenXcom 1.0.8d45159bf

Prerequisites:

  • 2 bases
  • 1 free hangar in target base
  • 1 craft in origin base

To reproduce:

  1. Transfer the craft from origin base to target base.
  2. Wait for the transfer to be completed.
  3. While the newly-transferred craft is still refueling, sell it.
  4. Attempt to use or dismantle the newly-freed hangar in origin base.

Results:

  1. The freed hangar from origin base is now unusable. Can't buy/build/transfer crafts into it, and it can't be dismantled (in use).
  2. The transfer is still listed in your base information, in my case as having 73 days left.
  3. I am not sure if the clock still ticks on the transfer, since I panicked and proceeded to...

Workaround:
Editing the save file reveals that the craft is listed as a transfer and refueling. Deleting the transfer entry seems to solve the problem.

Can you include the save? (before you edited it)
Are you using any non-default options or mods?

Hi. Unfortunately I didn't keep a copy of the original trouble save file. Other than the fact that the ship appeared both in transfer and refueling, I have no information about it. I ran through the bug during play, so I also didn't attempt to reproduce it myself. I edited the file and moved on.

I am using a number of mods and non-default options.

Thank you for the quick reply, and sorry I took so long to come back with these. Also thank you for your contributions to OXC. Huge fan. What an amazing creation and community.
