  1. Select a tree with a species and diameter
  2. Click "Edit"
  3. Try to replace the species with no species, or the diameter with no diameter. You can't.

Encountered while mapping trees -- if you enter a species by mistake, or put the diameter in the Height field by mistake there's no way of fixing your mistake.
