Android LISTS tab empty

As a logged-in user running the master branch pushed from Android Studio, tapping Profile and then LISTS results in empty lists for both Nearby and Recent tabs.

This tab does work, but the distance filter it uses is rather small (too small?) - unless there are trees within a 10 meter radius they won't appear on the screen.

Changing the label from bug to design, to prompt reconsideration of the distance filter for nearby.

What is the filter for recents? I thought that would be recently-visited treemaps, and since I just visited 3 or 4 within the hour, I expected to see them there.
