Protonect: "bulk transfer failed: LIBUSB_ERROR_TIMEOUT Operation timed out" with VMware #1176

Hello!
When I run sudo ./bin/Protonect I get the following:

Other information:

  1. The tests I made were done on "Ubuntu 20.04.5 desktop" installed on a virtual machine with VMware, where I set the compatibility with the USB 3.1 port in the "USB Controller" section
  2. i also tried to install libfreenect2 on the host machine (Ubuntu 22.04.1 LTS) and it works here
  3. Another thing is that when I try to execute the sudo ./bin/Protonect command on the virtual machine and then I disconnect the device from it, via the Removable devices section, and then I try to give the same command on the host computer, it doesn't work not even there anymore. To solve the problem I have to unplug and put the power back on.
