1. Download

Download the latest version of the plugin from https://github.com/Noisyfox/ACT.FFXIVTranslate/releases

Download

Download the file which name ends with .7z.

The latest stable version is marked in a green 'Latest release' label. The latest version (include beta version) is the version with largest version number in file name.

2. Extract Archive

Extract all files inside the .7z archive

Extract

You should see something like this.

The en-US folder contains the UI translation resource in English.

3. Copy to Destination

Put those files under your ACT installation directory, where you can find the ACT's main executable file. Replace any existing files.

Copy

The ACT installation directory is the place you can find your ACT executable file, as shown in the image above.

You MUST put the en-US folder in this directory otherwise the UI localization will not work!

You CAN put the ACT.FFXIVTranslate.dll in any place you like, but I STRONGLY recommend to put it inside the ACT installation directory too.

4. Activate Plugin

Open ACT, add and enable ACT.FFXIVTranslate.dll in Plugins -> Plugin Listing page.

Activate

After this, you will see plugin activated, like this

Activated

5. Change Language

Go to the translate plugin settings page, select English, as shown below, and restart ACT

English

Now your plugin should looks like this

English

6. Enjoy!
