What version can you reproduce the issue?

VERSION 2.3

Is this a new issue (ie. can you not reproduce the issue on older versions)?

YES/NO NO

Beta 2.1 allows me to load from the USB drive from the vwii menu but i need to be able to launch wiisxr from the wiiu menu, so i can use the vwii overclocking app via homebrew channel first, then launch the wiisxr forwarder, so i can launch into vwii mode.

PSX games run smoother when the overclocking app is enabled.

And it only works if you launch the forwarder from the wiiu menu. vwii mode won't even start, once overclocking is enabled, unless it's launched by a forwarder that supports overclocking, like the N64 emu as well as the PSX emu.

What game does this issue reproduce on (Name, Region, etc)?

GAME NAME, NTSC/PAL/ETC Not a game issue

Steps to reproduce the issue:

  1. Click on wiisxr forwarder on the wiiu menu, wii u launches wii mode
  2. attempt to load from USB, receives the error message.
  3. The credits even state that Beta 2.3 support USB 2.0

Describe the issue in detail:

WiiU "Error opening directory "USB:/wiisxr/isos" I checked to make sure the directory was structured properly and it was.

format your usb drive in fat32 32k MBR primary to fix. not GPT and not logical. use the Easeus partition master and immediately format again with wii backup manager

This fixed it for me – thank you!! I used Disk Utility on macOS.
