Steps to reproduce

• Download MyEtherWallet-v6.6.16-hotfix.1-Offline.zip from https://github.com/MyEtherWallet/MyEtherWallet/releases
• Unzip
• The readme says, "You can also use the offline version by opening the index file from the dist folder with your preferred browser", so I open file:///path/to/index.html# in Chrome
• After entering private key and accepting the terms, the #/wallet/access/software?type=private-key is blank.

What do you expect to happen?

A rendered page

What happens instead?

Blank white page

There are so many tickets going back years about this, all automatically closed, without any response from the devs.

Thankfully, okipol88 in #2777 said that v5.2.0 is working. Still, it's a very old version to have to rely on.

MyEtherWallet-v6.2.1.zip does not work. Show the errors, "Something went wrong with our service workers!" and "Network error: Failed to fetch"

Sadly, the google search I used took me to the target article, but that article does not mention that you must use version 5 (or version 5.2.0 as another commenter mentions) so I downloaded the latest version.

Here is a link to the v5.2.0 Releases page. It's currently on page 21 of the Releases list, so a long time ago...
