Application Close from ViewModel without breaking MVVM pattern with MVVMCross 8.0.2

Hello everyone,
is there a simple complete sample on how to realize a close button on a wpf mvvm cross application without breaking the mvvm pattern? The application is only deployed to a windows pc machine where the close event does exist / is relevant. The only thing I found which is not detailed very much (also might not work with 8.0.2) can be found under:
