Easy way to place 3d point on model

Currently, there is no easy documentation or tool about how to place the 3D points (where the sample was taken). This info/tool will improve usability for non experts.

we have discussed it yesterday with Ivan

option 1) we r considering: an instruction how to do it in third-party software, e.g. MeshLab
option 2) add the functionality to `ili for designing the spots locations & then helping during sampling

I like option 2, I can imagine selecting the area you want to sample and they telling the software that you want to use 500 samples and the system splitting the area on those many spots. Thanks!
