The manual process to create the App Registration discusses adding the optional claims for email, given_name and last_name/surname. These are the fields that the Complete Sign Up screen requires. The auto-configured Entra ID flow that's enabled via the Portal Overview in the Azure blade does not configure these claims... as such the manual process and the auto-configure differ in that respect. That is something product team should address.

then, with respect to the optional claims.. they don't appear to be used to streamline the Complete Sign Up UX. I still have to Complete Sign Up which at that point the EntraID user is created.

I'm suggesting this doc page discusses the fact that once you sign in w/ Entra ID the first time, you get the Complete Sign Up page... whether or not you added those optional claims.

a screenshot would really help manage people's expectations about the expected behaviour.

thanks!
Erik
